Regardless of their freewill, people share their
lives with others as we interact with each other. The suppression of everyday
desires that comes with social life may seem natural. But in actuality, the fact
that we are accustomed to these rules and institutions contradicts with the fact
that restoring and returning to human nature is one of the greatest problems man
faces in this day and age. This study focuses on this issue and attempts to
positively reassess our natural desires. By examining the lives of other
animals, it discusses how the proper pursuit of these desires can contribute to
human society. An attempt was made to examine sexual desires, which are
suppressed greatly by law and institutional ethics, from a psychological
viewpoint. In order to accomplish this task the justification of artistic
creation was explained based on theoretical knowledge of eroticism and taboos.
Also a comparative study was done on the diversity and future potential of
erotic art in other genres to understand the development the unfolding of art
works.
With regards to __EXPRESSION__al techniques, molding methods, the
relationship between Terra sigillate and clay, and the process in which each is
created were examined. Through this, an attempt was made to present an effective
method of molding and expressing with Terra sigillate, the materials used in
this study. In addition, through the self-diagnosis on desires, which is written
in a confession type manner, I tried to express my random thoughts and
experiences related to desire. This is because I believe that a confession on
the attitude I had towards my works and thoughts is the most effective way to
explain my creations. These are all efforts to make another step towards the
true nature of human beings and to be frank and have dignity about my desires
rather than be embarrassed and shun away from them. Ultimately this will be an
opportunity for me to convey to others the confidence I have in love, which is
the essence of this world.
인간은 자신의 의지와는 상관없이 서로 부대끼며 삶을 공유한다. 그러나 그 안에서 벌어지는 일상적인 욕망의 억압은 당연한 듯 느껴지지만 사실
현대사회에 절실히 요구되는 인간본성의 회복이라는 당면과제에 위배되는 온갖 규범과 제도들에 익숙해진 모순적 상황을 제공하고 있다. 이런 현실에
대한 반발과 의문에서 출발한 본 연구는 인간 모두에게 욕망을 자연스럽게 받아들여 긍정적으로 재평가하고 이를 통해 올바른 욕망의 분출이 인간사회에
어떠한 결과로 기여할 수 있는지에 대한 담론을 동물의 모습들을 통해 형성하고자 했다. 우선 기존의 제도나 법률에 의해 억압되는 성적(性的)욕망을
인간의 심리적 측면에서 접근하고자 했고 그러기 위해서 에로티시즘과 금기(禁忌)에 대한 이론적 배경을 바탕으로 작품제작의 당위성을 설명하였다.
또한 다른 장르에 나타난 에로티시즘 예술의 다양성과 발전 가능성 비교로 작품전개 방식의 이해를 돕고자 했다.
표현기법에 있어서는 작품
성형방법, 그리고 테라시즐레타와 점토간의 상관 관계 및 소성방식을 명시함으로써 판 성형과 본 연구에서 사용된 테라시즐레타의 효과적인 표현방법을
제시하고자했다. 그리고 작품 배경의 하나로 삽입된 개인 고백서 형식의 자가욕망 진단서를 통하여 본 연구자가 생각하는 욕망의 경험과 단상들을
기술하였다. 그 이유는 본 연구자의 생각과 작업에 임했던 마음의 고백이 본 연구 작품들을 설명하기 위한 가장 효과적이고 진실한 방법이라 생각했고
그로 인해 인간 본성에 더 가까이 다가가 불시에 엄습하는 욕망에 당황하고 거북해하기 보다는 좀 더 솔직해지고 당당해질 수 있는 기회를 제공하여
모든 것의 근원이 되는 사랑에 대한 확신을 전달하고자한다.
